Your employer is obliged to take into account the proposals of the occupational doctor or must give his reasons in case of refusal. The final decision will be made by the labor inspector on the advice of the medical inspector of work, seized either by you or by the occupational doctor. This temporary assignment ends if your state allows you to return to your usual position and can not continue after the birth.
  • If your position is considered dangerous and your employer can not assign you elsewhere, you will be eligible for a work stoppage. The compensation paid by your employer may take the form of differential or complementary benefits to those of the Social Security or consist of the maintenance of the salary (according to company agreements or the collective agreement if it so provides).
